CC&D CULINARY CONSULTING & DESIGN
For the past 31 years, Derrick Williams has perfected his passion, the art of Culinary. During this pursuit, he has gained knowledge and expertise in all areas of culinary design and management. Due to his leadership and motivating skills, Mr. Williams was recruited as the East Coast Regional Corporate Chef for Morrison’s Healthcare Inc. Derrick’s was responsible for, Food Courts, VIP Catering, Private Clubs, Fast Foods and Hospitals. Also, he received accolades for his management of the Harbor Court Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, a 5 Star, and 5 Diamond Hotel.
In 1999, Mr. Williams decided to follow his vision, and opened Culinary Consulting & Design (CC&D). CC&D offers business management tools in addition to catering services. His extensive resume of individual and corporate clientele allows him to showcases his vast array of experiences. CC&D offers a personal touch no matter the occasion. From a gourmet dinner for two, wedding receptions and proms to large corporate functions, perfection is the goal.
Corporations, politicians and pro athletes depend on Mr. Williams’ expertise for their events. He creates culinary displays and intricate ice sculptures that represent the individual needs of his clients. In addition, he has served as personnel chef to pro athletes, who depend on his extensive knowledge to obtain their dietary goals.
However, Mr. Williams also uses his passion to serve the community by working with charitable organizations. His personal mission is to donate his time and culinary resources to those in need.
Mr. Williams is a Native of Hopkins, South Carolina. After much success, he returned to the Columbia metropolitan area, to start his own business. He resides in Eastover in with his wife, Patricia and their five year old daughter, Chandler.
In the spring of 2008, Mr. Williams will open Teddy Roaster’s restaurant, in Columbia South Carolina.
Now CC&D has two location, Columbia, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina.
